Ways to Find A Therapist

Are you ready to take the steps towards working on the challenges you are facing with a mental health professional? Here are some ways to find a therapist:

  1. Call your insurance company | Call the behavioral health number on the back of your insurance card. Most insurances have case managers that can assist you in the process.

  2. Talk to your primary care doctor | Make an appointment or call your doctor to discuss how you are feeling and ask about recommendations.

  3. Go on PsychologyToday | Visit www.psychologytoday.com where you can find a database of clinicians in your area, insurance, and area in which you need support with!

  4. Google it! | Go onto this familiar search engine and enter what you are specifically looking for, for example: "Mental health counselor in Massachusetts for anxiety."
